Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of StatementConvert, including statementconvert.app, its conversion tools, previews, exports, and related support. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may submit only documents that you own or are authorized to process. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent.

2. The service

StatementConvert converts supported digital bank statement PDFs into structured previews and spreadsheet exports. Supported formats, features, page limits, prices, and availability may change. Limited launch access may require compatibility confirmation before a conversion is accepted.

3. Accuracy and review

Automated document extraction can make mistakes. You must review dates, descriptions, amounts, balances, and other fields before relying on or importing the output. Previews, reconciliation indicators, and confidence flags assist your review but do not guarantee accuracy.

StatementConvert does not provide accounting, tax, legal, banking, investment, or financial advice.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to process information without authorization, violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, bypass security controls, overload the service, reverse engineer protected components, or facilitate fraud. You must not submit passwords, banking login credentials, PINs, or full card details.

5. Purchases and taxes

Paid exports are offered as one-time purchases according to the page limits shown at checkout. Prices are generally displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes may be added. Checkout may be provided by a merchant-of-record or payment provider whose terms also apply.

6. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of documents and data you submit. You grant StatementConvert a limited right to process them only to operate, secure, and support the requested service. Temporary files are subject to the retention practices in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The service, site, branding, software, and documentation are owned by StatementConvert or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may use your exported results for any lawful purpose for which you have appropriate rights.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the service, including supported statement formats. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free conversion.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatementConvert will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, revenue, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid transaction will not exceed the amount you paid for that transaction. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Governing principles

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator in the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
