How StatementConvert handles your information.

Information we process

When you use StatementConvert, we may process the PDF bank statement you upload and the transaction, balance and statement information contained within it for the purpose of creating your preview and spreadsheet exports.

Please upload only documents that you are authorized to process.

Bank statement processing

Uploaded statements are used to perform the conversion you request. StatementConvert currently uses Veryfi as a document processing service to assist with extracting structured data from supported statements.

Statement files are stored in private temporary storage during processing. Our current system is designed to delete source files after successful conversion and generated exports after download or expiry. A one-day automatic storage lifecycle is also used as a final deletion safeguard for temporary files.

Payments

Paid conversions are processed through PayPal. StatementConvert does not receive or store your full payment-card details.

We may receive and retain limited transaction information needed to confirm a purchase, such as payment status, amount, currency and payment or order identifiers.

Anonymous conversion analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and performance.

We also record limited first-party conversion events so we can understand how visitors move through the StatementConvert process, such as whether a visitor successfully uploads a statement, views a preview, starts checkout, completes payment or downloads an export.

These analytics records may contain a randomly generated browser session identifier, event name, landing-page path, referral hostname, UTM source, medium and campaign information, and a timestamp.

We do not intentionally include uploaded filenames, bank names, account numbers, statement contents, transaction descriptions, balances, payment credentials or PayPal order identifiers in these analytics events.

Our first-party analytics events are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Service providers

StatementConvert relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers where necessary to operate the service. These currently include Cloudflare for website, API and storage infrastructure, Veryfi for document processing, and PayPal for payment processing.

How we use information

Information is used to:

• process your requested bank statement conversion;
• generate previews, Excel files and CSV files;
• confirm payments and unlock paid exports;
• operate, secure and troubleshoot the service;
• understand aggregate traffic and conversion performance; and
• respond to support enquiries.

Security

We use technical and operational safeguards intended to limit access to uploaded statements and conversion files. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you should avoid uploading documents when you do not have authority to process them.

Your choices

You may choose not to upload a statement or purchase an export. If you have a privacy question or believe information relating to you has been handled incorrectly, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as StatementConvert develops, including when we change our processing providers, features or retention practices. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
